About this workshop
Many of us come to MHFA training with our own lived experiences in a range of ways. In our May course, we are offering a warm, safe female only space to learn and explore this important topic. The course will consist of 5-7 hours of self-paced e-learning, followed by an in person session in Unley on May 6th, 9.30am - 2.30pm with lunch included.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA™) training equips people with the knowledge and confidence to approach or respond to someone who may need information or support.
Topics include:
Common mental health conditions
Risk factors & protective factors
Crisis situation support
Framework to supporting a mental health conversation
